The key answer is just simply local real estate investment clubs, REIA for short. How do you know if there’s one within your vicinity, within the next town, or multiple cities that you actually want to explore?
You can go to your computer and search for the local REIA, they’re stars in one region, and that’s Chicago.
They have career opportunities, education, and networking. They have a membership and you can check out their list of events. They have multiple events going on all throughout 2021. Depending on where you live, maybe you are the type of investors that likes to travel all throughout 50 states. For example, if you happen to be in Chicago, and you want to check out a very nice club that you can attend and just network with other Real Estate Investors, then this is a perfect place for you to go.
They have a lot of resources like Real Estate links. You can find a ton of resources for you to read and learn a lot about real estate, not just in the Chicago area, but you can actually learn a lot from any other available sites that are nationwide. They do have scholarship programs. Definitely check it out if you have any kids who are planning to go to college, or maybe this is something that you want to explore for them. How to find your Real Estate Power Team easily: Traction REIA
We have this website called Traction REIA. Traction Real Estate Investors Association is actually a big club in some states. They have a presence in Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland. They have been endorsed by the Washington Post, Scotsman Guide, HousingWire, and all of these companies. They always have multiple events going on.
You can move along the website where you will see a bunch of videos and testimonials and people that have attended. If you want to check out their events schedule, you can just simply go to ‘events calendar’, and you will get a list of all the different meetings or different events that they’re having for the next couple of months. If you want to learn more about what they do, there is a tab for the About Us Page.
You can see all the testimonials. They have a bunch of different training videos that you can definitely leverage as part of your educational training.

There’s plenty of educational content that you can watch and learn by yourself. They also have a podcast on and then feel free to join their membership. They have discussion forums which are also very important to clear our doubts.

The next site is very popular: meetup.com. They have a little bit of everything. When you visit the page, there’s a category section. Meetup helps you connect with people with similar interests. Whether you are a big fan of doing outdoor activities. Whether you’re a big fan of late techie stuff. Or you want to hang out and family. On their website you can see more categories, you have:

You have to focus on the career & business section and you’re going to open it up. Here you can find anything that is within your liking. You’ll find a bunch of real estate clubs, New York Real Estate Investors Association, you have Start-Up Central, Improv NOW, Startups New NYC.
Whether you’re in Secaucus, New Jersey, or whatever zip code that you use, all you have to do is write the zip code. Then it’s going to show you a bunch of different things that you can actually find, and then you can just simply type in real estate and voilà. Real estate Tallahassee. You type in your zip code, Tallahassee New Paradigm of Real Estate Success. That one has 120 members, Tallahassee Real Estate Investors Meetup, over 50 interested. Then Tallahassee Investors Network, over 602 people.
This is a great, great platform for you to connect with like-minded individuals, people who think like you and people who you would like to do real estate with.

Real Estate Power Team: Nationalreia.org
The last one is the nationalreia website. That’s the National Real Estate Investors Association. This is a nonprofit trade association serving the real estate industry for over 20 years. You have the option to find local groups nationwide. All you have to do is find a group. Feel free to find one that is near you. Just type in your address. Then as you can see they have, look at the list, Pittsburgh, Alamo, they have Austin and pretty much all over the nation. Feel free to navigate this.
Aside from different clubs or different groups that you can join, this is also a very resourceful website. You can come into the homepage and see what is it that they get you. Some of the things they offer are:

If you want to become a member, then you can check out all the benefits they have to offer. This is a much more formal real estate investment club than the previous ones.
They also have something that is very helpful, which is the legislative tab and they talk about pretty much everything that’s legislation related, opportunity zones. Everything that you need to look into to help you stay informed and invest in real estate.
Definitely go out and network with other people, and at the same time, take a look at these websites so that way you can keep yourself informed. If you want to look it up, then you can check out what they have to offer, and see if it’s something that is worthy of your joining.
